Thermesia cariosa

The adult moth of this species has buff wings, each with sinuous pale brown transverse lines and a variable number of black spots near the middle, and an arc of black dots along each margin. The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species is found in:

  • Fiji

    as well as in Australia in

  • northern New South Wales, and
  • Queensland.
