This adult moth is brown, with some dark spots, and an indistinct broad darker band from middle to wingtip on each forewing. The hindwings are off-white, each shading to reddish brown at the wingtip, and dark brown at the tornus. The undersides are plain reddish brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms
