The adult moth of this species has grey-brown forewings, each with a pattern including a dark sickle-shape along the margin. Each forewing has a bulge along the margin. The hindwings are pale yellow shading to grey at the margins. The abdomen is pale yellow. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
