The adult moths of this species have off-white forewings, each with a broad black transverse band at the base extending along part of the costa, another across the centre, and another one along the margin. The hindwings are uniformly brown. The head is pale yellow. The thorax is dark brown, with two yellow spots at the front, and one at the back, The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.
