The adult moth of this species has brown forewings, with broad fuzzy submarginal dark lines. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

The species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • South Australia.
