The adult moths of this species have a bold pattern of light and dark brown overlapping chevrons on the forewings. The hindwings are pale brown with vague dark arcs. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • New Guinea,

    and in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
