The adult moth of this species has brown forewings each with a dark spot at the apex.

The species has been found across much of the world, including

  • Burkina Faso,
  • France,
  • Hong Kong,
  • India,
  • New Guinea,
  • Swaziland,
  • Taiwan,
  • Turkey,
    as well as in Australia in
  • Queensland.
