The adult moths of this species have a bold pattern of light and dark brown overlapping chevrons on the forewings. The hindwings are off-white shading to brown at the margins. The forewing margins have a medial cusp. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
