The adult moth of this species has pale brown patterned forewings, and even paler hindwings. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in the dryer areas of Australia, including :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
