The forewings of the adult moth have a pattern of green, and light and dark brown, including a pale submarginal band containing a row of white-edged chevrons. The hindwings are brown, each sometimes with a vague dark patch near the costa, and/or a vague submarginal dark band. The wingspan is about 4 cms.
