The forewings of the adult moth each have a pattern of light and dark brown, including four zigzag transverse lines. The hindwings are brown darkening at the margins, with dark veins. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
