The Caterpillar of this species fedds on various plants in MALVACEAE such as

  • Christmas Kurrajong ( Commersonia bartramia ),
  • Crossberry ( Grewia occidentalis ), and
  • Coastal Hibiscus ( Hibiscus tilaceus ).

    The adult moth is satin-white. The moth species occurs across Africa and Asia to the south Pacific, including

  • Guam,
  • Malawi,
  • New Guinea,

    and in Australia in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • South Australia.
