Some taxonomists think that AGONOXENINAE is a subfamily of BLASTODACNIDAE, and some that BLASTODACNINAE is a subfamily of AGONOXENIDAE, but here following the Australian Faunal Directory, we treat them together as a subfamily of ELACHISTIDAE.
