The forewings of the adult moth are brown, each with a pattern including an indistinct orage spot in the middle, a faint pale area along margin, and small dark carets between the veins on the margin. The hindwings are pale brown, darker at the wing tips, with dark veins. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

This species occurs in Australia, including:

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
