The adult moth of this species has dark brown forewings which have a subtle pattern of light and shade. Each hindwing is black with a white basal area, white tornus and termen. The wigspan is about 3.5 cms.


Kiribati, 1994

The species is found on islands in the South Pacific, for example :

  • Duke of York Island, New Guinea,

    and also in Australia in

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
