The female adult moth of this species is yellow with a number of parallel transverse dark lines.

The males have a more slender abdomen, and more feathery antennae. Both sexes can have extensive brown shading on the wings. The wingspan of both sexes is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Western Australia, and
  • Queensland.
