The adult moths of this species have yellow forewings with two jagged dark brown lines across them. The thorax is dark brown. The hindwings are yellow with a broad black margin. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • New South Wales,
  • Queensland, and
  • Victoria.
