The adult moths of this species have yellow forewings with two jagged dark brown lines across them. The thorax is dark brown. The hindwings are yellow with a black mark by each wingtip. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
