The adult moths of this species have pale yellow wings. The forewings have thin black lines along the costa and the margin, and are crossed by two broad wavy black bands. The hindwings have a broad black band around the margin. In some individuals: the forewing and hindwing bands are shrunken into spots on the edge of the wing. The wingspan is about 3 cms.
