The adult moths of this species have slightly mottled dark yellow forewings and yellow hindwings. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found to occur in :

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
