The adult moths of this species are dark brown each with four off-white bars across each forewing two of which touch to make a 'V' shape. The hindwings are off-white, each with a broad pale grey band around the margins. The head is white. The thorax and abdomen are dark brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.
