Machetis versatrix

The moths of this species have white forewings each with broad dark brown zigzag partial streak, and fuzzy dark mark on the margin. The hindwings are off-white shading to brown at the wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
