The adult moth of this species is pale brown, with dark indistinct spots and zigzag lines on each wing. The moth has a wingspan of about 1 cm.

The species is found in Australia in

  • Western Australia,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales,

    and curiously has also been reported in

  • Sierra Leone (Africa).
