The adult moth of this species has brown wings. The forewings each have a broad pale area along the costa which extends across the thorax and the first segments of the abdomen. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species is found in

  • India,
  • New Guinea,
  • Taiwan,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
