The adult moth of this species has off-white forewings each with dark brown markings at the base and along the margin. The hindwings are yellowish-brown, darkening toward the margins. The head and thorax are dark brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species is found in Australia in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.

    This species needs to be assigned to a new genus.
