The adult moth of this species has forewings with brown blobs on a white background. In its natural posture, there is a tuft of raised scales behind the thorax. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species is found in Australia in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.

    This species needs to be assigned to a new genus.
