The adult moth of this species has yellow wings with with various markings including a big black mark halfway along the costa of each forewing, and orange and brown patches on the hindwings. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
