The adult moth of this species has patterned purple-brown forewings, and reddish purple hindwings. The wings all have pale yellow margins. The forewings each have a cusp near the middle of the margin. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species is found in

  • Queensland , and
  • New South Wales.
