The adult moth has forewings that are pale brown, each with a shaded dark band across the middle, and a black spot at the wingtip. The hindwings are also pale brown, each with a shaded dark triangle on the hind margin. The wingspan is about 1.3 cms.

The species is found around the south pacific, including

  • Fiji,

    as well as the northern half of Australia, including:

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
