The adult moth has greenish brown wings. The forewings each have a broad cream area along the costa. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New Guinea,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.

    The genus of this species is under review, and often listed as 'Unplaced', and the species is also often synonomised with Ataboruza divisa Walker, 1862.
