The adult moth of this species has rusty brown wings with a scattering of pale blue markings, although these turn to pale brown in dead specimens. There are three prominent white spots along each forewing costa, and a pale sot at the wingtip of each forewing, and a pale spot at the tornus of each hindwing. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.
