The adult moth of this species has forewings that are dark brown, each with two angled pale lines, and a pale line along the costa and around the margin. The hindwings are yellow, each with a broken dark brown margin. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
