The adult moths of this species have greyish forewings, each with a black-outlined broad irregular dark band across the middle containing two large round black-outlined grey-centred circles. The hindwings are off-white, shading darker at the margins. The wing margins are slightly sinuous. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
