The pupae of this species have been found in the borer holes of beetle larvae and under loose bark on :

  • Wattles ( Acacia, MIMOSACEAE ).

    The adult moths are brown with a complex pattern on the wings. They have a wingspan of about 4 cms.

    The species occurs over most of Australia, including

  • Queensland,
  • South Australia, and
  • Victoria.
