This adult moth is brown, with dark indistinct ragged bands on each forewing. The hindwings are plain brown, fading toward the bases. The wingspan is about 4 cms

The species has been found in

  • New Guinea,

    and also in Australia in

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
