The Caterpillar of this species brown with a complex pattern along its length. It typically rests during the day lying along a stem of its foodplant. The above caterpillar was found on

  • Austral Indigo ( Indigofera australis, FABACEAE ).

    The caterpillar grew to a length of about 4 cms.

    The adult moth has wings that are brown, each with a pale-edged dark submarginal line. The forewings each have a complex pale spot near the costa. The wingspan is about 4 cms.
