The adult moths are rusty brown with a complex pattern of darker and paler wiggly lines on the wings, and black spots along the costa of each forewing. The moths have a wingspan of about 4 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
