The adult moths of this species are pale brown, with dark markings, including a dark mark near the middle of the costa of each forewing. The males have more and darker markings than the females. The forewings each have a hooked apex, and a cusp on the margin. Th hindwings have scalloped margins.

The species is found in across south-east Asia, including

  • Japan,
  • Philippines,
    and in Australia in:
  • Queensland.
