The adult moths of this species are pale brown with dark markings along the costa of each forewing, and a dark pale-edged diverging submarginal line on each wing. The males have extra dark markings on the wings. The forewings have hooked wingtips.

The species has been found in south east Asia, including:

  • Borneo,
  • India,
  • Nepal,
  • New Guinea,
  • Taiwan,
  • Thailand,

    and in Australia in

  • Queensland.
