The adult moth of this species has brown forewings, each with various markings including one curved and one dog-legged pale transverse lines, a pale patch on the costa, and often including two pale spots: one roundish and one elongated, near the middle. The hindwings are brown, and each crossed by one rounded and one zigzag vague pale line. All four margins have a bulge. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.
