The adults of this species are dark brown with various diagonal white lines running across each forewing. Each hindwing is yellow with a broad dark brown margin and some prominent dark brown spots at the tornus. The moths have a wingspan of about 4 cms. The species is found inland in Queensland and New South Wales.
