These caterpillars are a minor pest, feeding on the leaves of

  • Durian ( Durio zibethinus, BOMBACACEAE ).

    The adult moth of this species has rusty brown forewings. There is a dark-edged white dot near the costa of each forewing.

    The species has been found across south-east Asia, including

  • Singapore, and
  • Thailand,
    as well as in Australia in:
  • Queensland.
