The adult moth of this species has brown forewings that each have a vague dark patch near the middle, and two pale transverse lines. The hindwings are brown, each crossed by one pale line. The forewing tips are recurved, and the forewing margins have a cusp. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Sri Lanka,

    and in Australia in

  • Queensland.

    This species is sometimes placed in SCOLIOPTERYGINAE.
