The adult moths of this species have forewings that can be grey with variable yellow markings, or yellow with grey markings. The hindwings are yellow with broad dark grey edges. The wingspan is about 6 cms.

The species occurs in

  • New Guinea,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
