The adults are pale brown with one or two dark spots as well as a submarginal pale-edged arc of dark dots on each wing. There are also dark dots all around the margins of the wings. The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
