The adult moths of this species have pale grey or brown wings each with various dark markings, usually including one or more fuzzy grey zigzag transverse lines. The females have thread-like antennae. The males have antennae with a feather-like fringes. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

This species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
