The adult moths of this species have brown forewings with lots of short white stripes. At several places, the scales on the forewings stick up.

About 31 Australian species have already been described and named in the genus Leptozestis. This appears to be another so-far unnamed species in that genus.

The species occurs in :

  • Queensland.
