The adult moths of this species have brown forewings which each have a pale stripe along the costa. The hindwings are plain brown. The wings loose their scales very easily. The abdomen is yellow. The wingspan is about 1.3 cms.

The species occurs in :

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
