The Caterpillar of this species has been found living in a cocoon with embedded leaflets of its foodplant, feeding on

  • Downy Wattle (Acacia pubescens, MIMOSACEAE).

    The adult moths have dark brown forewings with bold cream patches. The hindwings are dark brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

    The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
