The adult moths of this species have grey forewings, with a pattern of dark markings. The hindwings are grey. At rest the moths wrap their wings around their body. The wingspan is about 7 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Tasmania.
