The adult moths of this species have patchy fawn wings, including a pale area near the middle of each forewing. The wingspan of the female is about 15 cms. The wingspan of the male is about 10 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
